Oats Cookies

Hey guys! I been gone for so long. Been busy working at work, damn hectic. And I have a new FB shop going on. Selling kinds of accessories, phone casing and cheap tees. Go check it out now at Divine!

Not only that, I been chasing novels. If I Stay, Easy & Fifty Shades of Grey, been loving to read since high school. Just addicted to books. Seriously, I can't imagine who wrote Fifty Shades of Grey. It's like porno in words literally, too much details. I just read till first few chapters, the storyline just not my type at all. Anyways, can anyone recommend more books to me? :)

Today's recipe would be oats cookies. I love it so much, mainly cause it's not very sweet and it crunch every bite! This is just a same batch of cookies, 20 pieces.

Oats Cookies

  • 60g butter
  • 50g fine sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 40g all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 60g instant oats
{Print Recipe}

Oven : 180*C

  1. Combine the flour, baking powder and oats in a bowl.
  2. Mix the butter with egg yolk till soft and fluffy.

      3.  Add in fine sugar and mix well.

       4.  Mix in the oats mixture into the batter.

        5.  To get even size of cookies, I personally weigh each of them 10g. LOL *the perks of
being a chef* Round them and flatten it with a fork.

      6.  Baking time! Where the magic happens :) Bake for 15-20 mins till golden brown.

Don't they look yummy and irresistible?
Get your baking tools now! It's just so easy, just need approximately 40 mins. Well, it took me more than an hour LOL got to stop and take a picture every single time.

HAPPY BAKING WEEKEND! :)
